MAKERS' MARKET IS BACK ON JUNE 21ST!
We're returning with the true momentum of summer: with many Hungarian creators, unique items, inspiring encounters, delicious treats, and that wonderful market atmosphere we love so much. This day will once again be about stepping away from the everyday, holding beautifully crafted objects, chatting with the people behind them, and discovering something more personal, meaningful, and lovable than a quickly purchased impulse item.
At Makers' Market, designers, artisans, applied artists, and small brands will be showcasing their work – creators whose pieces reflect care, stories, and a love for materials. There will be jewelry, ceramics, textiles, graphics, home accessories, and unexpected favorites. Besides browsing, there will also be time to slow down: delicious pastries and sweets await, and you can have lunch, coffee, or drinks at the market's eateries, all while the usual Makers' Market DJ set provides the day's atmosphere. And if you'd like to create rather than just browse, that will also be an option: you can paint ceramics at a workshop, so it's worth arriving on June 21st with an open mind, curiosity, and plenty of time!

TAXITURI IS BACK
On June 21st, TAXITURI, the social enterprise of Adománytaxi, will be with us again!
For 10 years now, Adománytaxi has been working to deliver items that are no longer needed in Budapest but are still valuable to where they are truly needed: to people and families living in disadvantaged small towns. Since 2015, they have delivered donations from over 5000 households to those in need in 100 settlements, involving approximately 700 volunteers.
One of the foundation's important sustainability initiatives is TAXITURI, a community clothing market running since 2017. At the market, the most unique, carefully selected pieces from clothing donations received by Adománytaxi find new owners. The TAXITURI selection represents only 1–2 percent of the incoming clothing donations, and the proceeds from sales directly support the foundation's work.

No Makers' Market without novelties – this time, four new creators are joining us – please welcome them:
d'ALMA JEWELRY
d'Alma Jewelry pieces exist on the border of fine jewelry, small sculpture, and amulets. Organic forms, hands, gestures, and playful details meet precious metals and gemstones. The brand is the work of Dalma Dévényi, who, as a designer for Je Suis Belle, shaped her unique, intuitive, and ironic design language for 15 years, which continues to live on in d'Alma through the medium of jewelry.
The hand and touch are recurring motifs in the collections. Dalma's work is shaped by bodily gestures, serendipitous forms, and the simultaneous presence of luxury and playfulness. She works with precious metals and gemstones, often turning the rules of traditional jewelry making in unusual, sometimes ironic directions.
Each piece is handmade in small series in her Budapest workshop. d'Alma jewelry is both precisely crafted luxury items and personal amulets: objects that become complete when worn.
LINOCUTS BY GERGELY LAKY
Black ink. Gold ink. Red ink. Gergely Laky creates prints, handmade linocuts. He works in both European and Japanese styles, the essence being that they are old. He also makes the papers, just like the prints, one by one.
BEZI
Lilla Bézi handcrafts brass jewelry. The clean lines of her pieces, inspired by nature and combined with raw details, prioritize everyday wearability.
OIEE
OIEE started as a brand related to the music project of the same name, inspired by graphics and video clips associated with specific albums. Our biggest collaboration so far was our T-shirt designed together with kamayko. Our latest series, just released, is built around the slogan HOME IS WHERE I GO. The collection includes tote bags, T-shirts, hoodies, records, and socks, but there are also a few unique vintage clothing pieces.
