Spring is a time of renewal: we crave a touch of freshness in our homes, new pieces in our wardrobe, and little things that bring joy to our everyday lives. At our market on March 14th, you'll find exactly these treasures: artistic prints and home accessories, unique clothes, special jewelry, and new favorites that will help you stylishly tune into spring.
At our March market - which this time exceptionally falls on a SATURDAY - you'll once again meet over seventy creators in person, who will bring their latest pieces to MOM Park for you! Of course, there will be novelties this time as well - here are the designers you can meet for the first time at Makers' Market:
- Balatonoffseason
Almost no one needs an introduction to Lake Balaton – beach bustle, sunset, lángos, bike rides, wine, first loves, sunscreen scent, pedal boats – this is Hungary's happiest landscape. But do we really know it? Dorka Bartha accidentally discovered over a decade ago how exciting its off-season face can be. Since then, she has been exploring the shores of Lake Balaton after the summer season empties, with her bike and a camera around her neck, photographing holiday homes with closed shutters, exciting typographical elements, shapely fences, and the landscape that becomes familiar yet unfamiliar at this time. Each photo captures a perfect moment for her, the endless tranquility of the off-season lakeside, or the fragile transience of our memories. This world is also presented in her book published in 2023, "balaton offseason – amikor a magyar tenger partja kiürül" (balaton offseason – when the Hungarian sea shore empties). At Makers', you will find art giclée prints created from balatonoffseason photos, which can adorn your home or even your holiday home for decades!
- st.rk • atelier fanni stork
Fanni Stork's jewelry design workshop is located in a magical, quiet corner of Buda – this tranquility can be found in every st.rk jewelry piece. The jewelry consists of individually designed, small-series pieces: a meeting of modern technology and traditional goldsmithing, with clean, focused execution. Fanni's inspiration is the raw beauty of nature: organic textures, subtle asymmetry, optical harmony, and the character of rough or polished gemstones. For her, the story is just as important as the form – the idea behind the collections gives soul to the jewelry and invites one on a special, personal journey.
- Zakar Kata Ceramics
Kata Zakar's ceramics are built on the naturalness of the material, the gestures of hand-forming, and the power of quiet, timeless shapes. Her works are characterized by rustic surfaces, organic details, and a delicate balance between function and sculptural quality.
- esztish
Eszter Taylor, the founder of the esztish brand, consciously builds her brand, where the unity of visuals and communication plays a key role. She creates uniquely designed earrings, and her goal is for her collections to be entirely based on her own unique visual world. Involving customers is also important to her: personalization and sharing the creative process will also appear in workshops in the long run.
- zsove
Zsofia Varga, the designer behind zsove, has been creating bags for over ten years. Designing, sewing, and detailing are all part of the process she calls creation. Zsove draws inspiration from the rhythm of nature. Each piece is crafted slowly, with care and love – in the harmony of craftsmanship and time. The zsove brand was born in 2024 to carry forward everything Zsofia holds dear: preserving a connection with nature's simple beauty and taking time for valuable things. Every zsove piece is a little personal – each tells a story.
- anana - the ear candy
The anana collection features handmade colorful, cheerful, extravagant, feather-light earrings that are both playful and spectacular - bringing cheer to everyday life!
It often happens that after markets, you want to find a particular creator but can't remember their name, so we publish the list of participants at every Makers' event, but we are also happy to help if you're unsure who you're looking for - feel free to email us!
