Autumn is truly approaching – but we don't mind it at all! The heat is finally easing, and we're already preparing many exciting programs for the coming period. Before that, however, a truly super end-of-summer Makers' Market awaits us: on August 23rd, we'll once again fill the Fény Street Market with contemporary Hungarian design, inspiring encounters, and plenty of things to discover.
Once again, you can browse among the works of nearly a hundred Hungarian designers and creators, and you'll find many novelties as well. You'll also meet creators and brands who will be with us for the first time, and at the Manufaktura Workshop table, you can even make your own leather travel journal. Music will be playing all day, there will be no shortage of delicacies, and of course, your four-legged friends are also welcome. Come, let's spend a slower, inspiring, and truly good-spirited Sunday together!
Taste bookbinding!
On August 23rd, you can make your own leather travel journal in 30 minutes, which you can even refill once you've filled it up. Everyone can choose the one that suits them best from a wide variety of colors and types of leather!

- A6 size / 4500 Ft
- A5 size / 8500
- + notebook insert / 1500 Ft
You can pay with cash and card at the market.
The workshop is completely beginner-friendly, but children can only participate with a parent. Needles, hammers, and utility knives will be used during the creation, so let's pay attention to ourselves and each other!
No prior registration is required, you can join at any time during the market.
Feel free to contact Laura with any questions at hello@manufakturaworkshop.hu!
Taxituri will be here again!
On August 23rd, TAXITURI, the social enterprise of Adománytaxi, will be with us again!
Adománytaxi has been working for 10 years to deliver superfluous but still valuable items in Budapest to where they are truly needed: to people and families living in disadvantaged small towns. Since 2015, they have delivered donations from more than 5,000 households to those in need in 100 settlements, involving some 700 volunteers.

One of the important initiatives of the foundation's sustainability mission is the community clothing market, TAXITURI, which has been running since 2017. At the market, the most unique, carefully selected pieces of clothing donations received by Adománytaxi find new owners. The TAXITURI offer represents only 1-2 percent of the received clothing donations, and the proceeds from sales directly support the foundation's work.
New brands, new creators
No Makers' Market can pass without novelties: this time, twelve new creators are joining us. Please welcome them with great warmth!
Letícia, the creator of @shewantedstorm, is a graphic designer specializing in publishing who discovered digital illustration in 2024. Her work is inspired by plants, animals, and the everyday magic of nature. She brings her own prints, postcards, stickers, bookmarks, notebooks, and other small items.

At @_soap.foryou, unique handmade cosmetics combine natural ingredients with refined elegance. Every product is made with premium quality, skin-friendly ingredients to make daily care a true experience.

@_maui_ offers authentic, block-printed scarves and handmade, upcycled scarf necklaces – quality, classic accessories that represent timeless value.

The @jankoszorp is a family of premium quality, artisan syrups, combining traditional flavors with a love for natural ingredients. Their products are made from carefully selected fruits and plant-based ingredients to provide a truly intense taste experience in every glass.

@zsuzsanna_orthodoxou has been involved in hand knitting and designing knit patterns for years. After her unique, special yarn-made socks, hats, and scarves, her range will soon expand to include sweaters.

The pieces from @echoirisstudio are raw, characteristic, and unisex mineral jewelry, where monumental statement pieces meet clean, everyday designs. Real stones, natural textures, and uncompromising handcrafted quality – in the spirit of sustainability and modern streetwear.

@lengyel_keramia brings the charming atmosphere of floral-patterned plates and polka-dotted bowls into everyday life with durable, handmade Polish ceramics. Practical, timeless pieces that make every table setting special.

Zsófi, the creator of @makoyanastudio, creates unique planters, mirrors, and functional decorative objects from premium New Zealand wool using tufting and punch needle techniques. With organic forms and vibrant colors, she brings a distinctive yet cozy atmosphere to spaces.

The @for_builders is an art project by two Budapest architects, Karolina Szabados and Lukács Szedekényi. Their self-designed, hand-sewn clothes are made for building, creating, and shaping the spaces around us.

Many of you are probably familiar with @dorcaborca's super tattoos, but perhaps fewer know that besides tattoos, she also designs and creates ceramics, prints, zines, bandanas, and pins. On August 23rd, you can choose from these at the Makers' Market!

@lakygergely's linocuts blend European and Japanese traditions with the ambiance of bygone eras. He works with black, gold, and red ink, and for his prints, he meticulously handcrafts each paper individually.

@euforia_games is a completely Hungarian small business that creates self-developed and designed card and board games, manufactured in Hungary. They started with just one game, and now their offering includes ten card games, two board games, and an application.

A unique object is much more than a simple product: it contains the creator's idea, knowledge, time and handiwork - when you buy from a local designer, you are not only choosing a special item, but also supporting local creativity and the future of a small brand.
This is especially important now: adapting to the new EU packaging regulations can mean a lot of extra administration and costs for small artisan brands, and can also make it more difficult for them to sell abroad.
On August 23rd, you can support them in person at the Makers' Market - see you at Fény Street Market!!
