Autumn is slowly approaching – but we don't mind at all! The heat is finally easing, and in the meantime, we are already preparing plenty of exciting programs for the coming period. But before that, a truly great late-summer Makers’ Market awaits us: on August 23rd, we will once again fill the Fény Street Market with contemporary domestic design, inspiring encounters, and lots of things to discover.
Once again, you can browse through the works of nearly one hundred local designers and creators, and you will also find many novelties with us. You can meet creators and brands who will be joining us for the first time, and at the Manufaktura Workshop table, you can even make your own leather travel journal. Music will be playing all day, there will be no shortage of delicacies, and of course, your four-legged friends are also welcome. Come, let’s spend a slower, more inspiring, and truly wonderful Sunday together!
Get a taste of bookbinding!
On August 23rd, you can make your own leather travel journal in 30 minutes, which you can even refill once you've filled it up. From the huge variety of colors and types of leather, everyone can choose the one that suits them best!

You can pay with cash or card at the market.
The workshop is completely beginner-friendly, but children can only participate with a parent. Needles, hammers, and utility knives will be used during the creation process, so let's take care of ourselves and each other!

Taxituri will be back too!
On August 23rd, TAXITURI, the social enterprise of Adománytaxi, will be with us again!
Adománytaxi has been working for 10 years to get items that are no longer needed in Budapest but are still valuable to where they are truly needed: to people and families living in disadvantaged small towns. Since 2015, they have taken donations from over 5,000 households to those in need in 100 settlements, involving about 700 volunteers.
One of the foundation's important initiatives for their sustainability mission is the community clothing market running since 2017, TAXITURI. At the market, the most special, carefully selected pieces from the clothing donations received by Adománytaxi find new owners. The selection at TAXITURI represents only 1–2 percent of the clothing donations received, and the proceeds directly support the foundation's work.
New brands, new creators
No Makers’ Market can pass without novelties: this time, twelve new creators are joining us. Please welcome them with love!
Letícia, the creator of @shewantedstorm, is a publication designer and graphic artist who discovered digital illustration in 2024. Her work is inspired by the everyday magic of plants, animals, and nature. She is arriving with self-made prints, postcards, stickers, bookmarks, notebooks, and other small items.
@_soap.foryou combines natural ingredients with refined elegance in unique, handmade cosmetics. Every product is made with premium quality, skin-friendly ingredients to make daily care a real experience.
@_maui_ offers authentic block-printed scarves and handmade, upcycled scarf necklaces – high-quality, classic accessories that represent timeless value.
@jankoszorp is a premium-quality, handcrafted syrup brand that blends traditional flavors with a love for natural ingredients. Their products are made from carefully selected fruits and plant-based ingredients to provide a real, intense flavor experience in every glass.
@zsuzsanna_orthodoxou has been involved in hand knitting and designing knit patterns for years. After her socks, hats, and scarves made with unique, special yarns and a lot of care, her selection will soon expand with sweaters.
@echoirisstudio's pieces are raw, characterful, and unisex mineral jewelry, where monumental statement pieces meet clean, everyday designs. Real stones, natural textures, and uncompromising artisanal quality – in the spirit of sustainability and modern streetwear.
@lengyel_keramia brings the lovable atmosphere of floral plates and polka-dot bowls into everyday life with durable, handmade Polish ceramics. Practical, timeless pieces that make every table setting special.
Zsófi, the creator of @makoyanastudio, makes unique planters, mirrors, and functional decor items from premium New Zealand wool using tufting and punch needle techniques. With her organic shapes and vibrant colors, she brings a characteristic yet cozy atmosphere into spaces.
@for_builders is an art project by two Budapest architects, Karolina Szabados and Lukács Szedekényi. Their self-designed, hand-sewn clothes are made for building, creating, and shaping the spaces that surround us.
Many of you surely know the super tattoos of @dorcaborca, but fewer of you might know that in addition to tattoos, she also designs and makes ceramics, prints, zines, bandanas, and pins. On August 23rd, you can also browse through these at the Makers' Market!
@lakygergely's linocuts bring together European and Japanese traditions and the atmosphere of the past. He works with black, gold, and red ink, and he makes every piece of paper for his prints by hand, individually.
@euforia_games is a completely domestic small business that creates self-developed and designed card and board games, manufactured in Hungary. They started with a single game, and by now, ten card games, two board games, and an application color their selection.
