With the arrival of true spring, it's natural to yearn for newness, lightness, and a little change in our daily lives. This feeling intensifies as Easter approaches – we start preparing, looking for gifts, bringing fresh colors and small details into our homes, and in the process, we slow down a bit ourselves, attuning to this special period.
However, April 4th is not just another day like this – it's the last chance this year for the Makers’ Market to fill the MOM Park with life. It’s one last joint spring gathering at our winter venue, where over seventy creators will bring their freshest works: jewelry, clothes, ceramics, graphics, and tiny treasures, each with real stories and hands behind them. Don't forget, due to Easter, this market falls on SATURDAY!
This day will be both an ending and a new beginning — one last market at MOM before we move on to the next spring stops at Fény utcai Piac!
Here are the creators who will be with us for the first time on April 4th at Makers' Market, and at the end of the article, you'll also find the complete list of participating creators!
- STOORN
It's not a mass-produced product, it's not for everyone, and it doesn't aim to build an extremely wide customer base at all costs. So what is STOORN? If you see this inscription on a cutting and serving board, you'll know that you're holding a unique piece, made with heart and soul, with maximum focus, which will be your loyal companion in the kitchen for many, many years.
- Melasz Cookies
The Melasz Cookies is a passion project where comfort and experimentation go hand in hand. Their goal is to create unique cookie flavors that break away from the usual sweet world, instead seeking the perfect harmony of salty, sweet, sticky, and crunchy flavors.
- Pitenyák Boglárka +-X
The +-X is a shape-shifting, adaptive accessory collection. Its pieces, made with minimalist cuts and laser-cut perforations, have a flexible structure, so the size and shape of the bags adapt to their contents. The collection uses the least possible material, with minimized waste, experimenting with different thicknesses and characters of leather, and varying patterns.
- Glázer Attila
The Multiartist: Photographer, visual artist, writer. In addition to his latest publication, the book "Budapest 150 Parks", he brings his poetry collections and children's book to the fair.
- Lindasiető Bags
Linda Siető graduated from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and the Royal Danish Academy, then founded her conceptual bag brand in 2010. Her avant-garde collections have been featured at international design and fashion events and recognized by media outlets such as Design Milk and Vogue Italia. Her sculptural bags are handmade in Budapest from Italian premium leather or innovative vegan materials, as limited or unique pieces, with Hungarian craftsmanship.
- Botanic Bathhouse
The Botanic Bathhouse is a small Hungarian brand that creates special bath teas – yes, teas you can bathe in. :) The bath tea is a natural bath blend made from premium teas, herbs, flowers, fruits, oats, and mineral salts, offering a gentler, more natural alternative to synthetic, heavily scented bath bombs and classic bath salts. A slow, soothing bathing ritual for those who crave true relaxation at the end of the day.
It often happens that after markets, you want to find a particular artist but can't remember their name, so for every Makers' event, we publish the list of participants, but we are also happy to help if you're not sure who you're looking for - feel free to email us!
