The Nikimindegy brand was established in 2024, growing out of a hobby. Niki Balassa, the brand's creator, works with the punch needle technique, which is similar to rug making but is done by hand with a small embroidery needle.
"I've always loved vibrant colors, and this is what characterizes my work the most: colorful, sometimes grotesque, sometimes cute," says Niki.
She always starts the process with illustration, and from these drawings, she dreams up various designs. She primarily loves making bags, but she also plans many other things, such as tapestries or keychains, and from her illustrations, she also creates giclée prints, postcards, and stickers.
