Anna Somos creates functional porcelain and ceramic objects fired in high heat. The forms of her objects are timeless and clean, their simplicity is typically broken by a special detail. She often makes objects to order - this is a process that Anna particularly loves because of the joy of creating completely individual objects during the joint brainstorming.
"The personal connection between the creator and the customer is an important part of the process that accompanies the creation of the products and their finding a home, which is even more emphasized during individual orders. In addition to the personal connection, the search for and finding the beauty hidden in the details, as well as the joy of spending time on them, are also a particularly defining element of my work," says Anna.
During her individual workshops, Anna helps groups of 1-3 people to implement specific subject ideas. Compared to the thematic workshops that are popular today, Anna's sessions are flexible in both their topic and time to adapt to the participants' ideas. The goal is that during the joint work, their own plans can be realized with focused attention and professional support.
