Dorka Tímár creates functional ceramics inspired by nature and East Asian design culture. Her works are characterized by a simple design, clarity, and a combination of delicate details. She enjoys playing with soft, natural colors, glazes of varying surface quality, and diverse textures. She likes her objects to show the imprint of the human hand, the beauty of slow, conscious creation.
For her, the creative process is a form of meditation, a dance with clay, where every movement, touch, and breath leaves a mark.
