DANO, an inclusive design brand, creates unique, handmade ceramics and jewellery based on the belief that the world is more colourful and richer when we dare to look at it with different eyes.
The brand's story is linked to Danó, who became disabled due to a brain injury. Danó works with one hand, with assistance; for him, creation is simultaneously development, self-expression, and work. The objects are created through a slow, adapted working process, where different modes of operation are not obstacles but rather add value.
Each piece is 100% hand-formed and has a unique character. The tableware ceramics are fired at high temperatures, 1240 °C, with food-safe glazes suitable for eating. The objects are dishwasher safe and frost-resistant, designed for everyday use.
DANO's objects not only represent aesthetic quality but also convey a specific message: difference is not a deficiency but a resource.
