Flóra Karácsony is a plant lover. Due to her name ("Karácsony" means Christmas, which is associated with plants like Christmas trees), plants were always close to her heart, and as someone from the countryside, she loved gardening since childhood. Over the years, she slowly realized that office life was not for her, so she launched LaFlorArt, hoping to make the rest of her life golden, as those who love what they do are truly fortunate.
At first, she only created unique pieces for herself, but more and more feedback and orders came from friends, which prompted her to research the market and realize that this was a unique product – thus LaFlorArt was born.
She plants the plants in unique glass containers, mainly old chemical flasks, as these were available through the family business. Recycling is very important to her, so she only works with glass containers that no longer function in the market as they once did.
The "team" started as a one-person operation during the COVID pandemic, and as the brand developed, she saw the need for someone to help with production: making holders and cutting caps.
