Dear Friends,
We have two good news for you this time!
One: Even after our end-of-summer fair, we won't leave the decks of our favorite Pest base, MOST Bisztró .
Two: On the last Monday of the month, September 30th, we will be launching a brand new format, a series of conversations where our passion and mission, Hungarian design, will be in the spotlight. We will bring together our beloved artisan designers, whom you have most likely met at one of our fairs. We will not only ask them about the history of the brand, but we will also be curious about the challenges that a creative artist faces today.
In the first conversation, we will ask the founders of Makers of Budapest, the "engine" of the Makers' Market events, Petra Hoffmann and Károly Boldizsár, about their decades-long friendship, their commitment to Hungarian brands, their love for objects, and why - despite all the difficulties - it is worth believing in Hungarian design. Host: Kitti Mayer, design theorist.

Date: Monday, September 30, 2024, 6:00 PM
Location: MOT Bistro
If you've already met your favorite designers at Makers' fairs, but would like to get to know them and their brand's history better, don't miss the MAKERS' TALK events, where we always bring a different Hungarian creator to the table.
You can buy tickets here: https://makersofbudapest.com/products/makers-talks-belepo-szeptember-30
By purchasing a 2500 HUF ticket, you can secure your place at the event, and we, along with MOST Bistro, will be hosting you for a glass of natural wine or kombucha during the conversation.
If several of you would like to come and have dinner after the talk, it is worth reserving a table: https://reservation.dish.co/landingPage/hydra-0011i000004ysvtAAA
We are waiting with love!
