On November 17, 2023, a new area will open to city residents in the center of Budapest and will be integrated into the fabric of the city. The previously closed spaces of the City Hall will connect Károly Boulevard and Városház Street. The promenade provides passage through the inner courtyards and gardens of a huge building block, which will then facilitate pedestrian traffic in the city center and, with its green space, provide a diverse cityscape and city experience in the densely built-up historical part of the city. The three-day November festival (November 17-19) evokes the atmosphere of a birthday party and "housewarming".

We were invited to this great program courtesy of Budapest Brand: we are welcoming visitors to the capital's newest arcade with a two-day fair - this time with a different design team on Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th!

The Merlin building is reopening its doors after 13 years - this is where our workshops will take place! Over the two days, we will be preparing a total of five different workshops, including knitting, macramé, stamping, and you can also make a wonderful leather pen holder and bank card holder under the guidance of super talented designers. 11.00 - 14.00 - VISU slowdesign print & workshop - registration is NOT required!

At the VISU table, you can stamp an environmentally friendly booklet or postcard with the font set for Budapest's 150th birthday, containing details of the capital city, and if you wish, you can also make a stamp based on your own idea. You can also get acquainted with the Ex libris stamps designed by VISU slowdesign - if you bring a book with you - you can make a print, and there will also be an opportunity to pre-order a named Ex libris, even with custom-designed graphics. The festive edition 'Wilds of the Round Forest' stamps will also be there, which are only available during the Christmas period - packaging or gift tags can be printed with them, which is a real relaxing pastime in the company of hot tea and good music.
