38 designers and 22 design boutiques in Budapest were selected for the Makers of Budapest collection, which was launched in spring 2019. The bilingual publication was conceived as a guide, inspired by the international collection Made by Hand.

Starred in Made by Hand Charles Boldizsar also in Budapest with Bomo Art paper manufactory. The book planted the idea in his mind that there was no similar collection in Hungary yet, even though the creative environment, the Budapest designers working with traditional, artisanal techniques, really deserved greater publicity. He imagined all this not within the framework of a “coffeetable book”, but rather in a functional, practical size, which could even be carried in a bag, as a design “travel book”. This is how the Makers of Budapest "the idea ."
