Dóri Tamási graduated as a goldsmith and jeweler in 2004, but after a small detour, she returned to creating jewelry in 2015.
She originally thought in extremes and created extremes, but with the passage of time and the influence of her kind customers, her vision became more refined. Today, her goal is to express softer lines and visual experiences. She is fascinated by simplicity and subtlety but likes to add something different, something complementary, and to create a piece of jewelry through the combined effect of these two. She strives to find a certain harmony in the details and the use of materials.
She enjoys creating for those who don't want mass-produced jewelry but something that can be part of them for years, providing a unique visual experience.
"Jewelry is nothing more than a good spice. If we don't use it, the result is consumable, but incomplete and forgettable. If used well, we can achieve a wonderful overall effect."
Her jewelry is not planned in advance but is inspired by materials, textures, and forms as she works. Free experimentation, her current feelings, and mood shape the emerging object, the final form of which is often not entirely clear even to her. She seeks the birth of a certain feeling and harmony in each piece. The mere sight of a beautiful form, and its subsequent manifestation in some way, inspires her to create new objects.
